Took car out for a Sunday drive meeting up with some fellow MB travellers. 350km round trip for day.
Met our sister car, same year and colour.

Some freedom at last then, 350km is not a bad little run in the Australian sunshine.

My uncle who lives in Australia would say 350km is next door...

It was truly a great drive - my longest drive in a classic ( in a single day).

I took the opportunity to take my Blue 280SL and had my brother follow in the Gold 250SL.......tops down all the way.....

350km, 🤩
I see I got long road ahead of me. Best I managed was an hour at hwy speeds and that is in modern SL. Than again I made a 3000km journey in my w126 and it was great.

It was in Ontario Canada October 2019 as wife and i drove from Long Beach CA  to Maine Via Canada for a nice 16,000km drive.


Us Aussies like long drives, 350k is just the Sunday afternoon warm up
