There's a 230SL for sale by Beverly Hills Car Club that has a strange looking engine compartment. I'm curious...anyone know what this might be?

Injection/intake looks like it is from a 220SE

It is. I saw a car at the 2013 event that had the same treatment. Nice lady owned but I don't remember her name.
