Rebuilt Starter (Note correct #)
« on: January 07, 2021, 01:00:28 »
In my original post here I mistakenly wrote the last number as an “8”.  That was incorrect, it is a”6”!  Sorry about that!  So Joe’s reply  below does not apply?  The correct Bosch # on the starter is 0001 208 026, that is not a MB #!  This is the original  starter from my 1966 W111 Coupe, and was completely  rebuilt by Arlington Armature of Alexandria, VA and according to MB C. C. Parts, it fits several 60’s engines, 127, 129, 130, 116 and more! But Do your homework!  It has never been used!    A rebuilt at Classic Center is over $300.00 plus shipping.  It is available for ANY price over $200.00, pus actual shipping cost. Thanks, Larry L.

The photo is  the lower horse power starter (0.9 HP) used on the early W113 engines. The later 113 starter had an additional 0.4 horse power.
