W113, 108, 110, 111, 123 parts

Miscellaneous Mercedes parts, some NOS. Please note I am in Australia and prices are Australian dollars. I can ship international at cost but it could be slow. I am open to offers, especially if buying multiple items. See shipping rates at https://auspost.com.au/content/dam/auspost_corp/media/documents/post-guides/international-post-charges-easy-guide.pdf

R18 250SL injection pump. Seems ok, rack is free, plungers move freely, click adjuster at rear is working. The throttle plate binds slightly if moved slowly but snaps back to its stop if moved faster. The same thing happens on my 230 pump so I think it's normal, just mentioning it. $400 AUD

W113 manual shifter assembly. This is the version from later 230SL on, with the shaft bent forward slightly. Cosmetically challenged but moves smoothly with no play. $150 AUD

NOS early W108 RHS wing mirror. I believe this is also correct for W111 and W112. Has one tiny dint on the lower rim. Includes gasket and nuts. $100 AUD

NOS 230SL emblem in good shape with a couple of small scratches on the 'S'. $60 AUD

NOS automatic emblem. Part number 112 817 06 15, apparently for W111/W112 not W113, which requires 112 817 04 15 according to my 1964 parts book. It is 280 mm long and has three locating pins on the back. The distance between pins is A-B 130 mm, B-C 60 mm (A-C 190 mm). $70 AUD

NOS 250/280SL VDO washer reservoir with cap and hose - has the brass grommets. $70 AUD

New unused reproduction LHD 230SL/early 250SL sunvisors, beige, with passenger side mirror, no chrome hinges. These are the versions from 'Kay' in the UK. They seem good quality and I think are well regarded by other members who have bought them. Selling because I found a pair of genuine NOS, which actually don't seem that much better than the repros and don't have the mirror, but anyway.. $250 AUD

NOS split rear axle rubber boot, part 110 357 03 91, good rubber $10 AUD

NOS W123 seat belt, part 123 860 03 85 which I believe makes it the front left side (please check). $100 AUD

NOS W123 window crank handle, part 123 760 01 02. $20 AUD

NOS W123 OM617 diesel valve cover gasket, part 617 016 01 80, good rubber. $10 AUD

W121 190SL rear wheel cylinders, 23 mm bore. Both are working smoothly but one has light corrosion in the bore, which should hone out. The other is perfect. Rubber is good. $50 AUD

PM for more photos, details and shipping estimates.

Hi Dave,

I think I’ve seen the pump on gumtree for a while now, pity it won’t fit my 230SL.

If only your sun visors were for a RHD, I’d snap them up in a heartbeat, who is this Kay you speak of? Sun visors just seem ridiculously priced.

Cheers Doug.

Hi Doug,
Yes you are right, also on gumtree.
There are still people around who can service these pumps, though most seem to be retiring. You could try Guy Hall at DieselAustralia. He might be able to point you to someone local.
Kay is Khurram Darugar or 'SilverSL' in the UK who made a run of reproduction sunvisors a while back.
Some members have rebuilt their visors to a good standard, see:

I don't even try asking MB in Australia for parts quotes, due to the prices. e.g. $800 for a rear muffler and that was years ago, it's probably higher now. I've heard good reports from a SA colleague about parts from https://www.fixparts-online.com/ but haven't ordered from them myself.

Hi Dave,

I’d happily rebuild my sun visors, if I actually had some. I bought my car with them missing.

Maybe I should just buy yours and either cover the mirror or get a trimmer to put a mirror in the left one as well.
