Right, one of the most beautiful places in Germany for me.
We were there a few years ago with the Mosel pagoda friends .

This was "home" for me when I still lived in Germany. One of my favorite trips was on the north bank of the Rhine from Wiesbaden to Rüdesheim. Stopping at the birth place of the "Spätlese" at Johannisberg castle. One of the highlights is visiting Kloster Eberbach, the site of some of the filming of "The Name Of The Rose" with Sean Connery.

Hi,
lunchtime at Günderode House today.
We saw a white Pagode twice today in oncoming traffic, assume it was Peter from Enkirch. :-)

You will always find Gemütlichkeit, Good Food and Drink at Peters Hotel near the Rivers Mosel and Rhein. I cannot wait till our now new normal has faded down somewhat and  a vaccine is available for everyone so we can travel again using all the means available to us.

Meanwhile we do have the memories of years past. All we can do now is meet Members within our areas and have outings to explore our owne backyards :)

Happy Top Down Pagoda Outings Everyone.

Dieter

Picture taken on Peters Hotel Bar. Peter opened a few nice whine bottles on our last evening after a superb dinner that evening.

That was a wonderful evening, Rolf Dieter
On the last weekend in July we meet again with 30 pagodas. Despite the limitation, we will have a nice event again.
I am in the final planning for the roadbook. I will post pictures.
