SL230 tex to leather
« on: May 20, 2020, 07:57:06 »
As the engine is currently being rebuilt I thought it could be a good time to repair my seats. I have a very good local upholsterer and thinking leather would be good could someone identify a source for the basketweave embossed leather used in the centre section 1967. I have found 4 US suppliers of covers who seem very aware of the different seats used, but with time and extra tax payable does anyone know of a European supplier . Worlduph seems the best price for covers and the web site is very good relating to
the covers . As we are so far away in the U.K. has anyone in the US used World and are they as good as they seem , or my preference is to find a U.K. leather supplier .

Be sure to request "Old timer leather".  You'll be disappointed with the regular modern leather.
