Antidote for "Cabin Fever"
« on: April 15, 2020, 21:05:31 »
Weather turned nice here yesterday (upper 70's) so we decided to take a ride to get out of the house for a while. We, like many of you, have been "Sheltering in Place" for over a month now and it was nice to be out if only for short time. The roads near our home were more deserted than normal (i.e. no cars at all) so it was very pleasant drive. It had been a while since I had driven the car and my clutch/shift timing was not quite as precise as it should have been but still a joy to be out and about and to forget about the crisis the world is dealing with right now. To my fellow Pagoda Forum members, stay safe, stay well.

We had very similar weather here today, John. I abandoned captivity and the growing “honey do” list, removed the hard top, and enjoyed a late afternoon drive.  The purr of the exhaust in the open car is still mesmerizing after 50+ years.  Tomorrow, back to isolation and ....the list!  Take care all.

Great photo Ralph. Hope you get in many more drives in this year.  And I know what you mean about the exhaust, "Music to me ears".
