dashbord light bulbs

Hi again while I have my dash apart I would like to replace all the bulbs.Right now there are osram 12v 3 watt bulbs in there.I am not sure what they are .On the net I see what look like the same but they are called xenon bulbs.Does anybody know if they are good to replace mine

Think about LED replacement, I do not like them, but a lot of people do. You can search the forum for tips. You can buy various shades of white.
