Gas cap for 71 280 SL

I’m looking for a 71 280 SL original Gas Cap.
Any suggestions?

If you want original Mercedes you can order from Mercedes dealer.  Seems to me best price is through Mercedes when you find a dealer who discounts.  Or call Mercedes classic center in Irvine and they will have it in stock usually.

Independent part sellers seem to want more than the dealer.  Some independents sell the after market without making it clear that its not a Mercedes part. 

You should be aware that if yours was the “one key “ system - same key for ignition as gas cap - these are not available.  You will get new keys with this fuel cap.  Confirm the part number before you order.
