Soft top inesthetic....!

Have you a trick avoiding that :

Happy owner of a 69 blue 280SL ,  63 FHC  osb E-type , 55 FHC XK 140 to be restored...

When you fold your top down into the compartment, you need to make sure that the outer edges are pushed down under rather than up that naturally happens when it drops into the HT box.

Hi Yves - when you search the forum and the technical manual, you will find many discussions about this. It is as Garry says. In fact I had to start 'alternating' methods because the corners on my top started to curl down/inward rather than upward.

Hi,
It helps when you lay a piece of plastic over the fender before you close the softtop so the edge can slip in better.
