Cutting hardtop driver's and pax's weather strip (Got great info - thank you)

The subject weather strip needs to be cut at an angle and so far I have not found an implement that does a nice job of it. Shears, bread knife, utility knife have not produced satisfactory results. An electric meat cutting knife has given best results thus far but still not all that good. Any suggestions?

I still have found over the years owning Cadillacs and Buicks,and you know how many weather
strip rubbers they have, that the best way is still by hand with a pair of those cheap  plastic
snap of blades is best.
1--Use new blades every time
2--Available  in all hardware stores
3--use a good flat wooden block on bottom sos handle  clears bench top
4--When cutting slide blade forward and backward lightly, let the blade do the cutting, parallel.
5--depending on the shape and manufactures brand ,vary with rubber hardness.
6--The cut will come off straight and clean.
7--Sorry this example is just a garage door bottom seal.

I cut them a bit long and then we use a belt sander to finish them. It leaves a smooth edge and a nice finish.

Best for me was an Olfa knife (a super sharp snap off type, that the clear film guys use), lubricated with some glycerin (also handy for the seal installation).

I'm with the Doctor,
Pressing down on the rubber to make a cut distorts it.
Cut long, mark the length and angle with a fine white pencil.
A bench grinder with stone wheel gives a top result. Start gently.
