Run in Sticker Application and Location
« on: February 06, 2020, 09:05:19 »
I asked about it in the past, thought I would try again: was the run-in sticker used on W113 at all? If so - any idea where was it placed? I saw these stickers placed on hood (bonnet) in the bottom right corner as you open the bonnet - on cars with bonnet hinges on the windscreen side. I saw it on the sun visor on the later cars. Never seen it on W113, but I have not seen enough of W113s I am sure...

Perhaps some of you who have the cars since they were new remember this sticker?

This is sticker is on the right hand side of the photo. The valve clearances sticker for Euro cars is asked about by another Member in another thread.

Thank you!

This is how I should call this sticker, I guess - thanks for straightening me out on this.

I think I may have the German version (my car was delivered in Dortmund). Not sure if a correct one, but in German.

Now: if it was on Pagodas - where was it applied?

The Einfahrvorschriften sticker
(no. 15 on WRe's list)
is to be located on the inside of the windscreen,
it's a clear sticker (which you can basically look through)
in the visible area of the driver,
so that she/he can pay attention to the limits.

Yes, it was certainly used for the W113 cars.
The ones I have seen were, on a LHD car, placed in the right lower corner of the windshield. See attached
