230SL Hardtop Rain Gutter Adhesive? Butyl Tape?

In the process of refurbishing the entire hardtop. Am now looking at the "material" that is between the roof rain gutters and the body which looks like it is in strips, almost sticky clay like or like but tape. Does anyone know what it is and can it be purchased? I've looked at a couple of sites roof parts drawings but have not found. Appreciate any inputs.

Butyl strip caulk. Visit your local Car glass workshop; they will most likely provide you with some  :)
