Source for Chrome Letters/Numbers?
« on: December 31, 2019, 19:05:16 »
I am looking for off-the-shelf (not custom made, hopefully...) chrome numbers/letters for the licence plate of our nearly complete (I know, I know...) 300S.  Two inch tall letters aren't hard to find, but I need 4" tall pieces.  Anyone know a source?

Thank you...

Why don't you have a front license plate made?
The places that make plates in Germany put anything on a German-style plate. I had a plate made for a friend who had a Volkswagen GTI, with his initials, the letters VW and the year.
I am sure, one of our members still living in Germany can help you out.
If not, let me know, I can pull a few strings...

You don't need to rely on our European friends. Some of the darned best European plates are made right here in the good old USA!  ;)

I finally found the chrome letters I was looking for... here's the result.  Vendor makes these as boat registration numbers.  Will blacken the screw heads...
