M-B Classic Magazine Pagoda special issue from 2013

M-B Classic have a website with sale of technical literature and much more.
One item available from M-B Classic with particular interest to readers of this Pagoda SL Group website is the special Magazine issue celebrating 50 years of the W113 Pagoda.

Remember that issue very well.
It came out 1/2013 ...
At that time they still published three or four issues of the MB Classic magazine per year.
Remember that very well with the very nice Audrey-Hepburn-ish like young lady ....

Now only  two issues per year ...

Those are the modern times ....

Your are right, there have been three issues this year - for the last time.
There was (is) an extra letter from the editors that from next year onwards, there will be only two issues per year.   
Wow ...,
they started with four ... and now they are down to two ...
Just wonder until they are down to ....

You are an official MB Club member, aren't you?
And those get the MB magazine for free ...!

Well....,
even that turned out to be better in the old days,
until about one year ago I got two  copies each time, one each for my both MB classic car club memberships...;   
they said they could not align as to whether a MB Club member has got several memberships or not - due to data protection reasons. So there were members who received as many copies of each issue as they were (or are) members in official MB clubs (up to five, six ...) 
Well, but now they can distinguish that ... I suppose.... 
and everybody is down to only one copy left.   

Guess it's just about some possible savings....

Yes, Hans,
MB Classic 1/2013 - that was a great issue and article.
Later on they (editors) posted a report online somewhere about the efforts of photography etc. making such an article.

Here are a few more pics with ... not Audrey but beautiful Felica. 
On one of the pics you can see her how she looks usually,
just like an everyday (but beautiful) girl - not more (or not yet at that time point) Audrey-ish.
 


I epecially like the pic with the seats and their headrest escutcheons (and headrests removed) ...  ...,
which they later "photoshopped" away for the article.

In the USA MB Classic mag is not a part of the deal. I usually by it on eBay through a vendor in the UK. I have not received it yet, and did not know about the 3 going to 2.
