headlights not working
« on: November 26, 2019, 00:24:26 »
for some reason, both front beam headlights are not working, the lower box that contains park lights and blinker is working. the turn signals also work. the fuses look good, and can't see any that look bad. does one fuse control the front headlights? If so, does anyone know the fuse number. thanks

Here is the fuse legend. It doesn't look like one fuse controls all the components you are missing

Try spinning the fuse for the headlights back and forth in place in the fuse box.  If this doesn't help we can go to another step

9 + 10 are high beam and 11 + 12 are low beam.  Easiest way to check if fuse not working, is your turn signals working, they are on the same circuit as No.9

great news. they are working. I don't know why they were not. I had squirted the water hose into my grill to clean off some polishing paste. Maybe I got some connection  wet. Whatever it was, it fixed itself. I had some touchup paint work done, and had the rear tail lights removed. Maybe that had something to do with it. A mystery solved. Thanks Garry. Good to hear from you again
