Injector Pump R20y to R24y

Hi,
Can anyone tell me if it‘s possible to change an R20Y fuel injection pump to a a R24Y in an 280SL?

R20y is the only pump in the table on the wiki which doesn‘t say „replaced by xx“ in the remarks and in the mercedes catalogue the new part number is not mentioned as a replacement.

Pump ... R20 has a cold start coil
Pump ... R24 - no coil
Fuel doses and regulator specifications are similar.
