Talk about "over the top". I just read a discussion on the German Pagoda forum site, and for the umpteenth time it was stressed that polishing the intake manifold will reduce the surface area by about 50%, thus seriously reducing the cooling capacity which is supposedly not a good thing. Polishing the valve cover has a similar effect. I wonder if anyone has ever established more 'scientifically' what the real effects of this are.
