Hi All

I am restoring panel-work on my '64 LHD pagoda.  Floor panels were aftermarket units of questionable accuracy, but eventually got them to fit OK. 

What I don't know is the exact position of the floor mounted Headlight dipswitch.  Could some kind soul tell me the distance from 1) LH main side member and 2) distance up the footplate from the floor?   I suggest centre of  the switch base-plate as datum.   Many thanks.

It should be noted that floor pans were never available from the factory. I have a dealer's parts book and it shows no part numbers for floor pans. It seems odd that they would do this but they did.

I had the same dilemma, I waited until the carpet arrived as it has a hole in the exact position.

If you are interested, I believe I have a full sized template of the LHD drivers carpet. It has a hole for the foot switch.   It is in PDF format.

Just take it to a FedEx or such print shop and have it printed for a couple of dollars.
