Hi Pawel,
Thanks, I enjoyed the old photos and funny enough I have been to most of those towns and also flown a few of those old airplanes.
Regards

My pleasure!
You are from Cape Town! Been there twice. Absolutely beautiful city!
I enjoyed the bazaar. There was a stand with amber. I asked the guy where were these ambers coming from? He said: you will not believe me if I tell you. They pick them from the beach after storm on the shore of the Baltic sea in Poland! I said: really??? You have to be joking! ;)

Then we went to Durban and then to a game park Phinda.

Beautiful places!

Pawel,
We used to be in Cape Town for about 30 years and recently retired to Mossel Bay, about 300km east of CPT.

I lived in CT for about four years, working for an ad agency and living near Bantry Bay. We were there for the first Freedom Day and watched Madiba address the crowd. Bought a classic Range Rover, and when it wasn't in the shop, drove through Namibia, Botswana, Swaziland, Zambia, Zimbabwe, doing dozens and dozens of safaris. Although the crime was through the roof (esp. in Jo'berg) we never had any issues as we were very careful (except for that one time my fuel pump seized while driving next to a township... took me an hour of convincing to find a tow truck operator who would actually go there to get us... that was scary). Aside from all that I'd go back in a second. Cool clean air, incredible landscape, great drives, animal parks, wineries, reasonable cost of living and wonderful friendly people. Looking forward to going back with my teenagers and taking a nice slow drive through Kruger or Hluhluwe!
