Probably a euro car; headrests weren't required then.  Interesting: Montana plates, BH location, Miami area code.  Caveat emptor!

In my opinion this is a scam.  If you search “completed” transactions on eBay this car shows up sold at least 4 times, probably more.  And with various asking pricing, one as low as 49k and lower offer accepted.  This cars been on eBay many many months.  Scam.

Why are we posting up these links to eBay etc. There seems to be a fixation on prices etc.
Happy to have any member post their genuine car on our site and good luck to them and I hope they sell but harking on prices of vehicles in all sorts of places for sale some that are even fraudulent is slightly off and not for the betterment of Pagoda’s which is the basis of the Group.

You make a good point Garry and I won't argue that but eBay scams might fall into the sort of things our members could benefit from knowing about. Or, relative to that, at least know what a scam looks like.

Happy for people to point out scams and baits on the net but just posting a link to a eBay sale without any caution and seeking comment on price etc all the time is getting a bit monotonous and comes across as a bait in its self.


Thankfully in this instance, another member has seen the fleaBay post for the apparent scam it appears to be and put out a buyer beware warning to our members as you did on the wanted to buy from Latvia.

I'm an owner too and I don't like getting ripped off any more than the next guy. I had to learn the hard way just like everyone else did at some point or another. If we can help you out here as a club effort, more power to you, and to us for doing it.

Funny thing is this car is supposed to be in my home town (Marina del Rey) which is a small place. I would try and have a look but unfortunately (or fortunately) I am in France through next month.
