1965 Mercedes Banz 230 SL Tail Lights

Anyone have any suggestions on how th remove the glass lens from the Chrome Ring on the 1965 Mercedes Banz 230 SL Tail Lights.

They are not glass but plastic.  You can grind off the tabs and get them out and then when re chromed, they can be silicone back in place if they are ok.


There are several posts on getting the lense out of the frames.

Try entering "tail light lenses" in the search function on the upper right of the main forum page.
