Vredestein tire issue
« on: June 29, 2019, 19:40:30 »
I have a relatively new set of 185 HR 14 Sprint Classic Vredestein tires and have noticed odd indentations in the sidewalls.  Just wanted to know if anyone else has seen the same.

I have the same tyres,  and they look just like your photos. They have been on the car for maybe 18 months.
it did not take long to start looking like yours. It has not caused me any problems, no vibrations or anything.
I would not worry about it.

I have those tires for several years with the same indents. I have not had any problems.

The indentations in the pictures are normal and part of the manufacturing process. I have seen these for many years while in the automotive business and when I asked one of the engineers at Dunlop, this was their response.

Same here my tires look the same, and yes I was also told that it is in the manufacture process.

yes, have same issue. I was wondering whether it was the sharp edge of my garage floor that caused these. I got a good deal on the tires and thought maybe it was a B grade. Now that I see that others also have the same issue and likely manufacturing related, feel more comfortable. Nevertheless, looks awkward. Thanks for asking the question.
