Question:
How is this handle originaly treated against rust?
It is made from cast iron which cannot be galvanized as far as I know.
Other process? Which? What is the color? MB color number?

I've used yellow Zinc chromate and it looked OK. Sometimes it will produce a darker color that the surrounding parts but it's not a big difference.
