Advice on new AC system vs OEM
« on: January 17, 2019, 02:55:50 »
I plan on adding air conditioning to my car as I finish the restoration, but I could use advice on whether to go with a new system like the one BudsBenz sells, or secure an OEM system to install. I certainly like the looks of the original systems, but a new one would be easier to get my hands on and I have seen them in a few cars going in the mid-100's. Are there any installation or functionality advantages of the new systems to make them a serious alternative to be considered? Any other issues to consider?

Thanks for the advice.

I have the Buds Benz AC System installed on my 69 280SE Cabriolet and it works great. I just purchased the Buds unit for my 280SL for my winter project.
