Kuhlmeister AC ON/Off Light Indicator
« on: December 15, 2018, 17:25:36 »
I had the AC out 6 months ago to redo houses and all the good stuff but I didn't pay any attention.

The little green on/of indicator light is out all the sudden even though the AC is fine.

Anybody know if it's a readily available bulb or if its hardwired in, or anything else I shold know before I drop the unit down again?

Thanks

I replaced mine with a green LED, quite straightforward.

Any particular LED, voltage wise? Anything special that I should know about? Or any wiring or circuit board type of stuff? Thank you sir

Hi.    I just used a small 12 volt green LED from a local electronics store. I can't remember now what the installation involved, but it was quite simple, and I don't think any printed circuitry was involved. Once you gain access to the back of the control panel, I think you'll find what  you need to do.
