This weekends question for the observant Pagoda spotters.
Here is a photo of a 1964 230sl currently advertised for sale in Australia.
 
Do the early 230sl’s not have a grommet to access the heater stop cock in the firewall?

Yes, that is correct! Up to VIN 4549 on LHDs and 4584 on RHDs. All according to Pagoda Notes 10-1 off course! My car in attached photo. VIN 3221.
