"Red" Bosch Coil for 123 Ignition System

I installed the 123 Ignition System back in 2010, and continued using my old coil which measured 1.5 ohms resistance.  Have had no problems whatsoever.

For those of you who installed 123 and changed to the "Red" Bosch coil.......did you see any benefit for the "Red" coil?

I had a 123 system installed by Prestige Garage (an authorised 123 reseller) in Nice, 5 years ago. They installed the red coil, the reason given was that you can bypass the resistors with the red coil.
