I went to the NEC in Birmingham where the annual classic car show was held.
Came across the Hemmels stand, which I must say, was very impressive.
The 3 cars on show looked absolutely stunning.

Another one from the NEC, and to my mind the best Pagoda at the show. It was a three year restoration apparently and was up for an award today (Sunday).

Hi Peter

I must have missed that one. Gutted as it does look stunning.
Did you get a chance to speak with the owner?

Hi,

Yes, I had quite a long chat with him. Having just acquired my car which is also the same colour, I was keen to find out where he had sourced some cosmetic items in his restoration e.g. classic style seat belts, ashtray etc which are currently absent in my car. After chatting with him for a while and then heading over to the Mercedes Owners Club stand, it turns out he has a number of Mercedes featured in the club magazine (the number plates give it away), all out which feature because they are show winners - a true Mercedes fan.

The car was getting quiet a lot of attention on the Meguiars stand and really looked good.
