I just may have one but won't know until I am back in France, which will likely not be until next summer, sorry!

Thank you Cees! That would be O.K. I will actually put my original head back on and use another one for a spare/get it rebuild.
From France you could ship it to my place in Germany and I will take care of getting it here.

Anybody else in the meantime?

I could trade for a R22Y FI pump, correct for the U.S. models

Hi
I have a newly rebuilt 280SL Cylinder Head available that would fit your car :-) - it is in Europe - which I could sell you - and even better - bring to the US - going there in December :-)
But what is the status of your Injection Pump ?
Looking forward hearing from you.

Hello Knut:

What cylinder head exactly is it?
What is your specific question about the FI pump? The FI pump in my car is O.K.
I have a spare R22Y FI pump. The rod in this moves freely.

Hi Mike
Sorry about the "Radio Silence" - I am now back in Norway after my trip to Spain. I have the 280 SL Overhauled Cylinder head with P/N 130 016 11 01 here in Norway. It is a Euro type with compression rate 9.5
Please see attached pictures.

Can you please send me pictures of your R22 Fuel Pump ? And do you have any "Service History" of it ?
I am flying to Washington DC on December 1st. and could bring the Cylinder Head with me.

I also suggest that we switch communication to personal E-mail to shorten response times. Please respond with your coordinates to my personal E-mail: knutsaeter1@gmail.com.
Best regards
Knut
