Fitting US Headlights Units
« on: June 03, 2018, 18:49:41 »
A question from a friend of mine: is there a way to adjust a bit the fit of the US headlights units to body? The bezel goes a bit too deep somtimes for instance. In Euro lights we have the seals that are a bit of a buffer for imperfections. How do we do it with the US lights?

There may be some small adjustment you can make to the upper and lower mounting points. After that, it pretty much comes down to how level/even the headlight doors are, remember all the hand fitting that went on with these cars when they were built. And then who knows what other injustices may have been done through the years.

I just took a look at mine, and it is a flush fit all the way around the chrome piece.
