Movie "The Post" spot the Pagoda
« on: January 11, 2018, 08:23:15 »
Saw the movie last night and enjoyed it - Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks PLUS spotted a Pagoda twice (same one in two different scenes I think) firstly parked outside a house in a line up of late 70s US monsters -I think there was a 190 a couple of cars down - it was dark and next for a brief moment in traffic. It was silver.

NOTE I call them monsters but when we were living there in the late 70s, we owned one  - an Oldsmobile Delta 88 - loved it. Sadly, like everyone else we were spooked when petrol hit $1 per gallon (oh for those days) and sold it and bought a Vega hatch - its main claim to fame was it used more oil than petrol!  It was made in Canada and there was a bit of a theory going round that it was a joke played on the US drivers by Canadians
