Hi,
only just joined forum and as your post is pretty old, it might no longer be relevant. But using my own experience, I know that sometimes you can spend an eternity trying to find 'that' part. So if you're still looking, I have an old one (with key) from my ex 280sl. It's in ok condition and fully working. Just let me know. Cheers.
