Which clutch pedal ?
« on: September 09, 2017, 17:07:37 »
Hi Guys,
I want to start collecting parts for my auto to 5 speed conversion. It seems as if original clutch pedals are no longer available and we have to think out of the box. Has anyone used or modified 108 or perhaps Finny pedals? Which is the closest to the real thing? Any suggestions are much appreciated.
Regards
Chris

The 108's used the same pedal cluster as a 113.  This may broaden your search; I hope so!  Jon

TKS Jon,
I was under the impression that the Pagoda had smaller, more petit, pedals. But if the clusters are the same, I'm halfway there.
Much appreciated.

When I read the question in the topic my immediate answer was "the one on the left"!

More seriously I used a W108 pedal assy. If I remember well I had to weld a stud. The modification needed will be obvious once you compare your automatic one with the W108 one. Nothing too difficult.

Yes, that is so. But only until May 1969; after that the 108:s had a different angle on their pedal assembly, does not fit W113 anymore

I wrecked a 1968 280SL so I should have a pedal assembly.

Hi Guys,
I managed to find a 110 pedal cluster which fits perfectly, no mods, no nothing.
By the way, it is a RHD 110 pedal cluster which went straight onto the LHD 113, no problem. Same size pedals, same bracket, same mounting points. In fact, exactly the same.
