hello friends ,

I need to estimate the cost of shipping my 280sl w113 engine to Germany by air , anyone have idea how much the engine weight ?

Using "Search" here is what I found ... Hope it helps you out.

M120 engine with accessories, no air cleaners and as shown in previous pictures = 666.7 Lb
M117 Engine with accessories and air cleaner less transmission = 514.9Lb

Taleb,  a recent reference posted here indicated 441 pounds (say 200kg).  Not clear what is included.

This is probably good enough for your planning purposes.  You will eventually pay for the actual weight shipped including packing which could add 25kg or more.  Other variances will occur based on what you ship, such as with or without flywheel, injection pump, etc., etc.
