Cup for Kick Down Switch
« on: July 14, 2017, 21:17:28 »
Can you help me identify this part: A1136200547?

In the EPC the description says: CUP kick down switch (042 043 044). It is NLA from Mercedes. I did not find it anywhere else. Is it some rubber/plastic protection put on kick down switch? Or part of chassis wher kick down switch is located? Or plug if no kick down is in the car?

I am attaching picture from EPC.

From what I can tell, it looks like cars with auto trans used this part to mount the kick down switch. My own car ( 5 speed ) has a screw coming up from the floor that the gas pedal arm will bump up against under full throttle. Can't say I ever hit it that often............. ;)
