Lost post on W11x section of website.
« on: June 19, 2017, 07:37:58 »
Hi, I spent over an hour last night making a post with 4 photos on how I repaired a steering column switch, on my 280SE 3.5, which did not latch on the left hand turn signal. I reviewed it and then entered post and it started loading.  it was taking a while so I went to my emails elsewhere but when I returned it had disappeared completely.  It that it?  I didn't save the text on word or anything as I have never had problems before.

Hi Rutger,

Is it possible that your photos might have been too large in file size? It does at times take a while (depending on the internet or file size) for a post to load. I think our site reduces some photo file sizes if they are too large or it will come back to let you know that the file size is too large. If this is the case your post is not uploaded to our site.

As you can see if this happens, going to another area on your computer might just get things lost. Just my 2 cents. Perhaps you like to try again, as they say "never give up" :) Best of luck.
