Metro NY area

Looking to see if there was any interest an informal summer get together-  Perhaps we could hit a winery out east this summer?  We had an event with lunch up at west point years ago with 16 cars - we should be able to get at least a few!

Sure, come visit us on the North Fork.  I'd love to see a pride of Pagodas without having to drive through NYC to get there.

I am in Nassau and Suffolk all the time.
Especially on the north fork.
Keep me informed.

I'm up for it. There are 2 pagodas in N NJ (Mark and me). I'd love to tag a long, and I'm sure Mark would, too.

This is an older thread already. Is anyone planning anything?

I'm in lower Westchester County and go out to Long Island regularly. Would love to do something. One easy idea is to rendezvous at the informal car show found every Sunday morning (early) in the summer out at the east end of Ocean Parkway near Jones Beach. Just take Ocean Parkway eastbound -- you won't miss it. There's a lot of American muscle, but everyone there loves cars and there are usu. a couple of hundred there in nice weather. I will post to this thread when I'm going . . .

Do please post, but give some notice. I'm in N NJ, so getting to LI is an operation in it's own right. PM me if you have a plan. Thanks.

Anybody around this Sunday (Memorial Day Weekend)? We can meet early and run out to Jones Beach -- see if the car show is there, take a few photos anyway, and run back to our families. When I say early, I'm thinking 8am . . .
Jim
P.S. I'm in Westchester, but I'll come down to you to make the meet up on time

Well, it's ON.

Jamie (jameshoward) and George (jorged90) are going to Jones Beach early Sunday 5/28/2017. You can meet us there for the run and back or we'll meet up with you on our route.

PM me if you wish,
Jim

Jorge, Jamie and I met up at Jones Beach (Oak Beach) early yesterday and it was my first time meeting them. Very pleasant time and a beautiful day for a drive on the South shore of Long Island. Here, for posterity, are a couple of snapshots:

Hopefully this is the start of something new --

On the first picture the blue car appears much narrower that the other two.  If I had one that was narrower like that it would fit much better in my garage.  Was it just washed with real hot water one day?   I always wash mine in cold water.

Great photo.

Ian, You should know by now these cars were handbuilt! Of course no two were alike...

Bonnyboy,

After 50 years of cold water treatment, you should notice an acute atrophy
