Center bearing
« on: March 22, 2017, 23:22:34 »
I need help.   Have my drive shaft out but do not want to break this aluminum housing.  What do I need to do to get this off and put in the new bearing. This is a 1966 230sl auto.  Thanks in advance as I don't post very often

Did you mark everything before you took it apart? The drive shaft is balanced and should be assembled in the same way it came apart.

Isn't there a snap ring that holds the bearing in place?
