buds Benz Generation 2 or 1 or Original period AC Reviews requested

Sweltering in Florida 8 months out of the year keeps me from driving the Pagaoda, any reviews on the new style Buds Benz AC units?  If you do not want to post in this thread please message me, I am about to pull the trigger on the new style one that actually looks to cool the driver not just the passenger.  Any responses on AC (even the oriiginal rebuilt ones would be greatly appreciated.

sorry i have no advice but wanted to chime in. you have a great question, i'm looking forward to the groups advice. my factory AC was removed and discarded by the previous owner....

I'm having one installed using my original interior unit for a period correct look.  Gernold's been doing these for quite some time with very good results.
