I acquired this seat sometime back and want to match to know what car it is correct for.  I think it is correct for a W111/W112 coupe/cabriolet but I'm not positive, and not sure if there is an early version and a late version, etc.   The seat back adjust knob is on the left side - does that make it the driver side or passenger side seat?  I'm guess driver side for LHD market.  I also notice that there is a seat back release lever (to tilt seat forward) and it exists on BOTH sides of the seat, which I find unusual.

thanks
Scott

Without doing a side by side I'd say that looks exactly like my driver's side seat in my '62 220se.

It looks just like the driver's seat from my '66 250SE cabrio.

I would really like to get rid of this seat locally (Los Angeles).  It is an eye sore on my porch.  Anyone want to buy my seat?
