280SE 1969 111 Dash Brake light
« on: June 24, 2015, 12:21:05 »
I was driving my 280SE yesterday and noticed the dash brake light was staying on even after I had released the emergcy brake. The light is very dim. I messed with the switch and pushed it in by hand but the light was still barely on.
Any thoughts on fixing this?

Which switch did you mess with? Did you look at the sensors in the brake fluid reservoir? There are low brake fluid warning sensors, that are small floats, one in each chamber of the fluid reservoir (that is the set up on the 113, and I think these are all part of the whole safety DOT etc improvements).

Just messed with the switch at the emergency brake.
Will check the brake reservoir.
Thanks
