How about some help on approaches to restoring the engine bay to "like new"? That's a project that I would like to take on over time on a piece by piece basis.

Best,

Yes, engine compartment restoration would be a good subject to cover.  I will look into adding it to the schedule!

Thanks!

I'd love to see a session on getting the fuel mixture set up correctly on our cars.  Despite a rebuilt FIP, mine is out of whack and I have been slowly getting it straitened out, but it's not there yet.  There have been a couple of good articles and threads on the subject, but a session might be of interest to others.  I can provide the mixture-challenged car and AF ratio meter.....

Another topic I'd be interested in would be to have 3 or 4 samples cars of different vintages side by side, and have someone walk through the differences in the cars that have evolved over the years.  The 4 types of cars that come to mind are:

1) Early 230 (I can provide this one)

2) Late 230

3) 250

4) 280

If there is an "entertainment" section in the agenda, I'd be happy to do a little talk about my 4-pagodas-and-a-few-rooms-full-of-parts adventure, including where they are today.

Peter, why not write an article on that subject and let us have it to include in one of our PW issues. Your story along with photograps would make interesting reading. We do need more material to issue two (2) PW magazines per year.

Anyone else out there reading my scribble here ... What's your story? I'm sure you have one or two to share ... Write it down send it in to the Editior, no worries we have volongtiers to edit the write up.

Do we have an idea of what presentations there will be and when?

Thanks,

I am also having a "Rough Engine" issue. It is rough on start up and stumbles and quits without adding fuel and then it will run rough at certain speeds. It also backfires when downshifting. It feels like it is too rich, but I am not sure if that is the only issue.

Hello Wallace

Saturday morning will include introductions and three presentations. A two hour lunch, will include the parts swap meet, the car judging and food.  Saturday afternoon will consist of two tech sessions and a Q and A Session with the experts. Saturday evening is the photo shoot, the dinner and awards from the car show. Sunday morning will include another tech session, another Q and A session and individual help with pagodas. This schedule is meant to be flexible.
