Rear Window Defrost Switch - Wiring Harness
« on: February 07, 2015, 05:31:42 »
Hello Members,

I'm working on a bolt & nut restoration to my U.S. Model 280SL - 1971.
It been 7 years since I completely gutted the vehicle.
Needless to say, I can't remember the proper routing for my original rear window defrost harness.
Can anyone advise or share any photos of original routing/placement?

Thanks,

Walter

Hello Pagoda Group Members,

I created another Post titled, "Wiring Instructions - Hardtop Rear Window Defrost Switch”.
You may find it very enlightening.
I have included translated sections of Mercedes-Benz’s German language Technical Manual regarding this topic.
And, it should answer any questions you may have.
