Bypassing Dash rheostate

Need directions to bypass the dash rheostat. I have done a search and come up with a "0"
The only reason to bypass is the shaft will not turn on the inside of the bake-lite.
Does anyone have a fix for this problem?
Thanks for your help.

Several searches? Really? Do you know how to search?
Searching for "rheostat bypass" brings up these (and more):
