"Starla" brand exhaust? Good Quality?

Hi, my exhaust is shot and needs to be replaced, all of it. There is an EBAY seller who is selling a complete exhaust at a very good price.  Has anyone purchased the Starla brand, and happy with the fit and quality?  Thanks!

I have a Time Valve stainless steel exhaust. I am very happy with it.  I have not heard of the Starla but have heard of Borla.

What a coincidence because today I was going to post regarding exhaust systems. Mine is also shot, and the muffler shop said I should keep the engine pipes and replace the rest. What are your thoughts, I thought it best to replace everything. I was also recommended a Timevalve Stainless Steel version at $640. + labor (the muffler shop quoted $780 including labor for the steel version from another company. DOES the Timevalve have the same sound as the stock? I do not want a noisier unit??

I saw that system on ebay too. All I can tell you is that, for what it's worth, I have found that seller to be a very ethical individual.

I have a Timevalve system and have found it to be slightly louder than the OEM unit on my last Pagoda. It's a pleasant sound, but definitely a different, slightly "tinnier" sound.

I think the Timevalve exhaust sort of gives it a "throaty" sound.

I have OEM mufflers but I used a Starla headpipe and intermediate pipes....the intermediates were fine, but the headpipe required some adjusting, the clearance and angle were off and to get a good fit took some heat and bending...no problems since. I have heard that some owners have found the flange bolts at the manifold/headpipe connection would loosen, though I'm not sure if they were Starla headpipes.

Any others have experience with Starla, or another brand for a alternative to the stainless timevalve?

I think the gold standard in OE exhausts is Eberspacher. Far superior to Bosal or Ansa in terms of the gauge of the steel. Much heavier and more durable.

Which vendors sell Eberspacher exhaust components?  I have not seen them advertised anywhere.

Speaking of exhuasts I remember reading an article about "reproduction" ones often have the centre crossover / balance part missing and this can cut up to 4 mile per gallon (UK size) off your economy.
However prices are "horrible" in the UK
