Hood release handle travel

I recall reading a comment by Joe Alexander in a previous forum post that too much travel in the front hood release handle should be avoided because of the strain it places on the cable and the risk of snapping. It was suggested that the cable be adjusted such that the hood releases after only a small pull on the handle.

Where is the cable adjustment done?

The cable is adjusted at the release point in the catch centered at the top of the firewall under the hood.

Easy peasy....
