crankshaft pulley marks
« on: July 04, 2013, 00:54:55 »
The pulley on my late 280SL has two sets of timing marks. One is offset by 40 degrees from the other. Can anyone tell me why this was made this way, and which set to use?
Thanks,
Joe

It depends on which pointer you have. Most likely the scale to use is the one closest to the engine.
