Soft Top Headliners??
« on: June 12, 2013, 18:39:29 »
Are headliners available for the soft top to give a more finished look to the interior?  If so where in the USA?
Thank you,

I have never heard of it. If there are, I would love to see one.

I think a headliner would make the top too bulky. Retracting the top and closing the hatch could be very difficult. The reason I say that is I use a leather chamois to protect the rear window. I had to experiment with different approaches to get the hatch to close without additional effort. My soft top is also new so and may be part of the issue as well.

Never heard of it either, but will agree that it would finish the interior off in a nice way. I know that a company in the UK at one time produced a deluxe soft top (or hood as they call it) with sound deadening, insulation and headlining for the MGB. But since this folds behind the seats and not into a tight soft top compartment, the thickness might not have been a huge issue...
