Can anyone tell us what the entire soft top frame, with fabric, etc. weighs?

Ray only a guess zas last fall i lugged mine out after a restore.. I would guess about 45 to 50 ##'s an tghen my son and I installed it in to place a some what trick to do.. Regards Clem

I agree. 45 to 50 pounds is about right. The last two posts on the linked thread describe the step by step procedure I used to remove mine after getting advice from the rest of the group. I removed both soft top and frame in one assembly without help, but with a little planning.

Apparently late 1966 230SL 4-spd manual (Italian Version)
Owned since 1987 with a personal full rotisserie restoration/modernization between about 2011 and 2019.
Was: Papyrus White 717G with Turquoise MBtex 112 and a Kinderseat
Is: Dark Blue 332G with Dark Blue Leather (5300, I think)
